Evidence that this was a Harper bridge: Probable
This bridge was on of possibly several that were exported to the West Indies and probably erected by John Birch & Co, Ltd London. The picture from the Jamaica ‘Gleaner’ of 1969 shows the remains one the tower on one bank.
It looks as though it was swathed in concrete (similar to the Newquay bridge) to protect it from the marine environment. However the finials on this grainy picture look like Harper finials and so the bridge was probably one by Harpers.
